The medical technician is excellent. It is unfortunate I was told by the nurse I could come in as early as 7 am for fasting labs. Apparently, the rules have changed and there is only one med tech who comes in at 8 am.
No wait, friendly staff, to the point, helpful and willing to help with needed paper work.
Sheri Chacon, PA-C, was first introduced to the art and science of medicine in 1988 when she became a hospital corpsman in the United States Naval Reserve. She provides compassionate care for new and current patients at Leading MDs in Goodyear, Tempe, Sun City, and Mesa, Arizona.
Sheri was activated in support of Desert Storm and spent time on active duty at Oakland Naval Hospital. She discovered her passion for working in the operating room after training as a surgical scrub technician in the Navy.
After completing her physician assistant training at Western University of Health Science in Pomona, California, she began her clinical experience in general orthopedic and spine surgery. Sheri joined the California Army National Guard and spent more than two decades there broadening her expertise. During that time she worked in primary care, internal medicine, pain management, and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Though Sheri focuses on primary care and internal medicine and treats a wide range of conditions, she specializes in joint and trigger point injections. She’s also passionate about helping patients lose weight.
Sheri balances her busy medical practice with a rich family life. She’s a movie nerd, loves to read, and has taken up bowling.
