I usually never write negative reviews but have to say it was a disappointing visit. I understand when problems arise and the schedule is off but I felt like my exam was rushed and not at all as thorough as I would expect a full bShow moreody mole check would be. My appointment was at 9:10, I wasn’t seen until after 10 so I know the doctor was running behind. Both my parents have had skin cancer and I look for peace of mind when I do my routine mole check. I didn’t get that and left in tears. I wasn’t asked to lay down, I had to ask to have the back of my legs looked at, I wasn’t asked to raise my arms…it just felt so rushed and dismissive. Ironically, The magazine in the office has the a story about Tamra Judge who had skin cancer on her buttocks - I know I have multiple moles under my panty and bra area that were not looked at (front and back and sides). I am only letting you know because I was referred to your office and told that it was a very thorough exam. It was overall super frustrating and disappointing. However, I was grateful for the 3 mole that were zapped in the office and the receptionist was very sweet.
For a first time patient I was extremely satisfied. From the friendliness starting at the front desk, to the back when meeting the rest of the staff. At some places you can tell "it's just a job" but there I got the sense that evShow moreeryone truly enjoys being there, and loves what they do. I guess I have this condition where sometimes my vagus nerve cause me to pass out w needles, and unfortunately that happened in his office. It was embarrassing to say the least. Lol However Mr. Chapa and his assistant made sure I was taken care of. I cannot express how much I appreciated that. So, yes definitely a 5* rating!
Stacy McEnaney is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Heights Dermatology in 2020 in Willowbrook. She grew up in the Greater Heights area of Houston, Texas and attended St. Pius X High School. In 2005, Stacy graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health, with emphasis in Health Education. She completed an internship at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital and developed the first pilot health education program for skin cancer prevention. She then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston and obtained her degree in 2007. After several years of working as a bedside nurse, Stacy decided to pursue her master’s degree. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Cizik School of Nursing in 2017. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was the recipient of the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship.
Stacy’s background in nursing prior to her role as nurse practitioner includes 14 years of bedside nursing in both labor and delivery and high-risk obstetric units at institutions in the Texas Medical Center, including The Women’s Hospital of Texas, Memorial Hermann and Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women. She spent 2 years working as an NP in OB/GYN and performing non-invasive aesthetic procedures for a local concierge medical spa. It is there where she realized her passion for cosmetic and clinical dermatology. She has a special interest and focus for prevention. She strives to provide the highest quality of care, education, and evidence-based practice to patients both directly and indirectly. She is currently a member of Houston Area Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and Dermatology Nurse’s Association for Nurse Practitioners.
She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She maintains balance by exercising and staying active as often as possible. She loves to cook, travel, and listen to live music.

Everyone is so friendly. We never feel like we're being rushed. As our examination went on we talked about family, the Houston heat, and laughed a lot. There was some serious business that was addressed but it was overall like visiting family.

The front office ladies were so accommodating and got me in last minute when I was in lots of pain. They are also taking care of getting a referral for me. Stacy was AMAZING! She’s very knowledgable and confident in her diagnosis. She has a great bedside manner.
