Stephanie Salas, MD, MHSE, MBA, is one of the skilled physicians practicing at Salsive' MD Medspa in Ponte Vedra, Florida. She has been practicing internal medicine for 22 years.
Dr. Salas graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1999 and completed her Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Texas in Galveston in 2002. After completing her residency, Dr. Salas became a hospitalist physician.
She enjoyed hospital medicine because it gave her the opportunity to travel across the country and assist hospitals that were understaffed and in need of competent physicians. She also loved meeting new patients, making new friends, and the opportunity to learn about local cultures in this country.
Dr. Salas has always championed the importance of primary and secondary prevention as it relates to health and optimal living. She began practicing healthy nutrition and exercise as a young child, which became the reason why she pursued medicine and became a doctor.
Dr. Salas maintained a healthy lifestyle while she was in college, medical school, residency training - and beyond. By example, she encourages her patients, family members, and friends on the importance of staying active during the aging process.
In 2014, Dr. Salas became interested in anti-aging and aesthetic medicine and enrolled herself in accredited clinical training programs in New York and Florida, receiving multiple certifications in cosmetic injections, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, PRP for hair restoration, facial rejuvenation, skin care, microneedling, PDO threads, Kybella, fat loss, laser hair removal, and sexual wellness.
She is continually expanding her knowledge and skills, staying on the cutting edge of anti-aging and aesthetic medicine, a field that is ever-evolving in terms of innovation and technologies. Her focus is making the general public aware that these treatments are attainable and can reduce the speed of the skin's aging process thereby making a person feel and look younger.
