About Stephen Karp, DO

Stephen Karp, DO, is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management specialist. He currently provides care at Integrated Pain Consultants with offices in Scottsdale, Mesa, and Phoenix, Arizona.

Originally from Scottsdale, Dr. Karp’s training began at the University of Arizona, obtaining two degrees in both Physiology and Psychology. He then completed medical school at Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine. Afterward, he went on to complete his residency in anesthesiology at Baystate Medical Center in Massachusetts and his Pain Medicine fellowship at Boston University - St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Dr. Karp is trained in utilizing the latest interventions for pain management. Using these advanced interventions, along with medications, osteopathic medicine, and adjuvant treatments, he is able to assist with the most complex of patient pains. He works to create a treatment plan specific to each patient to help them improve their quality of life and increase function in day-to-day living.

In his spare time, Dr. Karp enjoys spending time with his family and their two dogs, traveling to new countries, and catching up on the latest shows.
