This was my second appointment with Dr. Brandeis. He is a consummate professional - knowledgeable, polite and very straightforward to deal with. Dr. Brandeis graduated from the New York University Medical School in 1975 and completed his residency at NYU in 1980. He then went on to complete a fellowship at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Colorectal Surgery in 1981. He then returned to offer Colon and Rectal Surgery to the NYU community. He was board certified in General, Colon, and Rectal Surgery in 1982 and was recertified in 1991.
Dr. Brandeis is committed to providing his patients with the highest quality of care and works to ensure that each visit is thorough, professional, and comfortable. He understands that reaching out to a doctor for many of these issues can be a little uncomfortable but dedicates himself to providing relief and treatment for an array of conditions. He has academic appointments at NYU and does most of the surgery there.
