As usual, Dr. Saunders was friendly and personable. I came into his office today on ver short notice, and inserted into his busy schedule. While he was seeing me, there was no sense if rush. He listened attentively, examined me wiShow moreth care, and immediately came up with the diagnosis and proscribed treatment. During our time together, I felt like I was the only patient there - even though I knew this wasn't the case. He gives you his professional all, yet you feel as though you're spending quality time with a good friend. He has such a way of putting you at ease. To say that I highly recommend Dr. Saunders is an understatement. If you're about to see him for the first time, prepare to be very pleased.
I have been a patient of Dr. Saunders for 20 years. Visits are like visiting an old friend for warm friendly advice. He is a consummate professional fully aware of your history when he walks into the examination room and keeps up Show morewith the latest technology and trends. The staff is very friendly and wait time is minimal. Wait used to be an issue, but over last few years has been corrected. I would recommend Dr Saunders to friends and family. The office is centrally located easy to get to with ample parking.
ABOUT DR. SAUNDERS
Steven L. Saunders, MD, MBA, FACP, is a board-certified physician with over 30 years of experience providing patient care. Certified in both internal and obesity medicine, Dr. Saunders specializes in a number of approaches to help patients in the Milford, Connecticut, area improve and maintain their overall health. At his private practice, Steven L. Saunders, MD, LLC, Dr. Saunders provides each patient with the inviting, compassionate environment needed to address their medical concerns.
Dr. Saunders received his undergraduate education from Columbia University in New York City. He then went on to the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia where he earned his doctor of medicine. Dr. Saunders also obtained a master of business administration from Quinnipiac University School of Business in Hamden, Connecticut.
After completing his medical education, Dr. Saunders received his postdoctoral training from New York University Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City, where he completed an internship and residency in primary care internal medicine. Dr. Saunders treats patients with a number of conditions including diabetes, high cholesterol, hypertension, and obesity.
Dr. Saunders, who speaks English and Spanish, has spent much of his career serving as the attending physician for a number of hospitals in Connecticut and New York. In addition to his work in patient care, Dr. Saunders previously held a faculty appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, Department of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine in New York, NY. He currently teaches medical students and holds faculty appointments as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine of the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.

Very good . He is through. I saw a PA student he was fine asked a lot of question. Feed the info to Dr. I was in and out in a short amount of time . I just do not like the message when you call. They are doing their best because being shorthanded. I do not need to know that . I have Dr for like 40 plus years . I know he has my back . That is why I continue with him .
