The entire staff is great. Michelle James is awesome. I was frustrated today about what seems to be a problem with prescription system. I have recently changed my pharmacy. I updated my info with MJ and doubled checked before leavShow moreing the office that all prescriptions were being sent to NEW pharmacy. I arrived at new pharmacy later to discover that only Some of my prescriptions were sent to the correct pharmacy. Two were sent to the old pharmacy. I was able to call old pharmacy to get them to Remove these so new pharmacy could fill them. I called MJ office to point out the issue. Then much later in the afternoon I realized that ANOTHER two of my prescriptions were not sent out. I called NEW Pharmacy and they had not received these. I had to call Michelle’s office again and explain. Update: These were not filled until 7pm. My appointment was at 8:30 am. I will need to go out tomorrow when i really could be in bed. Don’t get me wrong, everyone along the way was polite and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this facility. I do think there are some kinks to be ironed out concerning sending out prescriptions to pharmacies.
Lots of positives here. First of all, Dr. Patterson’s office is five minutes away from my house instead of all the way out in Nowhere, Germantown. Masking is still required. The office is clean, quiet, and not crowded with people.Show more The folks at the front desk are courteous and efficient. The staff members who took my vitals, conducted an EKG, took chest X-rays, and drew my blood were friendly and good at their work. I was told the results of some tests and given a timeframe to expect the results of others. Both the nurse and the doctor reassured me that they would call me if they found anything to be of concern. And WOW! I wasn’t left waiting endlessly at any point during my appointment. Dr. Patterson was personable and attentive. He went above and beyond by saying he would try to find out costs related to a nerve-conduction study, and he made sure he spoke to me at the conclusion of my appointment. I’m really hoping that Dr. Patterson’s practice is a good fit for me; I tend to avoid medical care (to my own detriment) because I have often been treated so poorly in the past.
Susan Lacy, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified gynecologist who has been practicing in Memphis for over twenty years. Before starting at Modern Gynecology & Reproductive Health, in Midtown Memphis, Tennessee, she trained at Johns Hopkins Medical School and completed Ob/Gyn Residency at the University of Tennessee Memphis in 1997. She has been an active part of the Memphis medical community, first in private practice and more recently in the non-profit sector.
Dr. Lacy founded Modern Gynecology & Reproductive Health to meet the unique needs of the community and to provide more accessible, quality care in gynecology, hormone optimization, transgender care, wellness, and aesthetics.
She lives in Midtown and has 4 children. She has been involved in community activism as a founder of Physicians for Urban Parks, and more recently as a board member of Protect our Aquifer.

I always have a good experience at Dr Lacy's office. The entire staff are just wonderful always servicing you with a smile. Dr. Lacy is a doctor who listens to you never a rush. I give Dr Lacy and staff a Thumbs Up!
My entire visit was a breath of fresh air. I did not have an extensive wait and the care team was professional, but also approachable. They made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Lacy took the time to listen to me and have an actual conversation about my care and concerns. She was responsive, understanding, and has excellent bedside manner. She actually took the time to educate me about her approach to treatment. Her years of experience and knowledge of current medical research make her a gem. I’m 54 and have avoided medical visits all these years due to bad experiences. Dr. Lacy came as highly recommended and I’m so glad to be a patient of hers

Dr. Lacy is so patient and understanding. Am I always able to get in and be seen in a timely manner. She is a Doctor who listens to her patients and works with them at any stage they are at.
She took her time and explained options for my perimenopause symptoms- and even repeated herself so I could better understand. This is all new to me so having someone take their time to help me understand was just what I needed. I’m loving the empowerment that exudes from this office.

Excellent+! Dr. Burbeck is the epitome of what a patient wants in their professional provider. The entire experience with Dr. Burbeck was exceptional…she took the time to talk with me, provide an analysis and advice on how to treat and solve.
This was my first visit. Dr. Joy took the time to listen to my concerns and questions She explained things to me and wasn't rushed. I felt like she really cared about me and my health. I would highly recommend her. She was a blessing to me.

Called @ 8AM w/ specific issues and was seen @ 10. My vitals were excessive and Ms. Mastin and staff quickly diagnosed symptoms/intervened. I am being referred to next level. Degree of knowledge, analysis and action were more than appreciated. Trust them.

Dr. Burbeck is a very caring and thorough doctor. She is available for any questions you may have. If she doesn't have the answer, she'll find it & advise. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Burbeck.
