I had an excellent experience with Susie Smith at the Post Road location. She listened thoughtfully, took her time checking my issues, explained details carefully, and was very thorough in her examination. She also asked a couple Show moreof times if I had any further questions. Susie is an Excellent medical provider! The office on Post Road was very nice, clean, and only a few people going in & out, or in the waiting room. I might change to this location as my permanent place because the office on Horizon Ridge & Seven Hills has become a "zoo!" It's a véritable madhouse with So Many Patients STUFFED into the office waiting room, or many others waiting out in the hallway. Terrible! & in this day & age of COVID19 infections & Severe Lung Infections, I'm horrified that the office has not noticed that people are shoved together with No Space Between them, whatsoever! Currently, appointments run 45 to 60 minutes behind! It never used to be like this. When you are finally seen, you are RUSHED THROUGH AN EXAM without the focused & thorough care we used to receive there over the past Several Years. SERVICE IS SUFFERING! I asked about this mess of late & rushed appointments, as well as the Terrible waiting room conditions and was told it was because they had added several new providers. Well, get some new & sensible office space to handle all the extra patient 'traffic' you schedule in there! Changes are definitely needed at the Horizon Ridge/ SevenHills location! My friends & I hate going there. I have a serious & very painful skin condition & a long familial line of skin cancer. My Annual visit needs to be handled with much more care than what I am receiving at the Seven Hills location. But if I must drive all the way across the Vegas Valley to see Susie Smith, at an office that is sensible & respectful of patients (Post Road), then I suppose that is what I will have to do.
Galina Serdtsev and her assistant Melissa were awesome! They both made me feel so very welcome and helped me tremendously with my issue. The wealth of information given was so very helpful. Galina took her time and the visit was nShow moreever rushed. She answered every question I had in detail. Melissa was very personable and followed up with everything I was supposed to do post visit. The front desk ladies were also extremely friendly. I am so very fortunate that my doctor referred me to Thomas Dermatology. I was extremely anxious prior to the visit and these wonderful ladies made me feel so very comfortable. As picky a person that I am, I would definitely recommend this dermatologist to anyone!
Susie Smith, MS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Thomas Dermatology’s Post Road office in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born and raised in Las Vegas and specializes in all aspects of dermatology including cosmetics, general dermatology, laser treatment, pediatrics, and skin cancer treatments.
Susie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Nevada, and earned her Master of Science as a physician assistant at Western University of Health Sciences. In addition to completing dermatology studies in school, Susie trained under the direction of Dr. Douglas Thomas and has worked with him since 2003.
She maintains her advanced credentials with continuing education and is licensed by the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners. Susie is also certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

My appointment was at 830, I arrived at 8 as requested to fill out new patient paper work. They called me in by 820, and I was completely finished by 835. Fast, efficient, courteous , friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great experience, under the circumstances of my visit.
