About Tammy Pennington, NP

Tammy Pennington, FNP-C has over 20 years of nursing experience.  She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from King College and a Master’s of Nursing Education from Walden University in which she has taught and lead nursing at the local community college, universities and liberal arts colleges. She also earned a post Master’s Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama in which she has practiced in chronic pain management and addiction medicine since graduation. She has completed training through the American Society of Addiction Medicine for Suboxone prescribing. In addition to her formal years of education and training, Ms. Tammy Pennington is also a proud member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
