The practitioners at Lakewood Family Health are incredible. Dr. Cavazos in particular has taken phenomenal care of my entire family. Most recently, my daughter had a prolonged fever and abdominal pain. Multiple clinicians at the EShow moreR wanted to be helpful, but they were stumped. Dr. Cavazos, however, was a shrewd diagnostician and I felt she appropriately ordered labs, tests and prescriptions until a remedy was found. She was extremely communicative through the process. Very thankful.
If I have have a health issue, this is where I'm headed. I received thorough yet speedy treatment and Tara was extremely patient explaining the exam and lab process, as well as the steps I needed to follow up with at home. I can’t recommend Lakewood Family Health enough! My daughter and I were in and out in less than 20 min. They diagnosed my Strep, and called in medicine right away. It was ready for me to pickup on my way home. They are professional and knowledgeable. I had a very good experience.
Tara is always my first call when anyone in my family needs care. She is prompt and provides the most excellent quality of care. And she is wonderful with kids. My children never even mind getting a shot from her. She is also patient with my many questions. Simply the best and I’m so grateful for her and Lakewood Family Health.

Lakewood family health, Tara Cavazos and the entire health care team surpassed my expectations. I am an MD who sought care for a severe GI illness. The labs, fluids and medications that I needed were provided but most importantly, it is apparent how much they all care. Come here for your annual exams or illness! I cannot say enough good things

Dr. Cavazos listened to my concerns about my daughter and gave her a thorough exam, all while maintaining her warm and comforting demeanor. My three-year-old told me in the car, "Dr. Tara has a sweet heart," and I agree! She diagnosed my daughter with something I hadn't even considered but makes total sense. We feel empowered with a clear treatment plan!
