I love going to the Howard Center. All of the staff that I have encountered are easy to talk to and explain things very well. I received an ultrasound and my annual pap, and I felt safe, comfortable and heard the entire time. I waShow mores given several options to deal with my chief complaint and reassured that if and when I needed to come back that my next appointment was only one call away. Tarah Wilson, F.N.P., is passionate about women’s health care and is proud to serve patients at The Howard Center, with locations in Covington, Valdosta, Moultrie, Warner Robins, Leesburg, Douglas, Tifton, and Waycross, Georgia.
Tarah is originally from Tifton and currently resides in Rochelle, GA. Tarah completed her LPN in 1999 at Moultrie Technical College; she went on to receive her RN in 2003 and her BSN in 2016, both from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. She then graduated as a Nurse Practitioner in 2020 from Walden University.
Tarah did a clinical rotation with the Howard Center while in school and fell in love with women’s health. She works to meet not only the physical needs of her patients but the emotional needs as well. Tarah loves that working here allows her to provide high-quality care to all the women that she sees.

Everyone from the front desk, to the nurses and techs and doctor were polite and professional. For example, the front desk clerk helped me with an insurance issue that I was having. She waited patiently while I got the correct information for her. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. They offered snacks, coffee and other refreshments to you, with made me feel right at home. Lastly, the office is beautifully decorated. They thought of everything!!!
