Dr. Terry Kelley is the very best doctor that I could possibly hope for. He and his staff express genuine concern and interest in each individual patient. He treats you as a complete and whole person. He is the person who encouShow moreraged me to improve my general overall health in ways that are unrelated to his field because he expresses any health related concerns. I listen to his advice when he gives it because it always improves my life by improving my overall health in some way. He doesn’t sugar coat information but yet is able to tell you difficult things in a manner that makes the information welcome and wanted/needed. Dr. Kelley never ignores medical concerns that he notices. It is rare, in my opinion, to find someone who is both excellent in the technicalities of his work and is an excellent communicator as well. He and his staff are courteous, helpful, professional, and just all around wonderful! I have been a patient at this practice for over 37 years. OBGYN Associates of Marietta is the practice that treated my grandmother, my mother, myself, and both my daughters. I cannot recommend Dr. Terry Kelley strongly enough. He has treated me as an ob patient as well as a gyn patient, successfully performed minor surgical procedures, diagnosed & successfully treated problems, and thoroughly monitored my health. He is absolutely outstanding! I am extremely grateful to have the service of such a fine doctor!
I LOVE Dr. Kelley and Diane and give them hands down a 5-STAR review. And the rest of the staff is genuinely pleasant and great to see/deal with 1st thing in the morning. However, in my 22 years of coming to this practice I have nShow moreever had to wait as long (over an hour) to get checked in to the back and started like I did on this visit. I purposely made myself his 8:30am appt so I wouldn't be away from work so long and to not get back to see the check-in nurses until almost 9:40 while he says he sat back there wondering where his 8:30 was. While I was a few minutes after the 15mins before arrival time I came in with completed forms so there was nothing front desk needed to do but scan my cards and I was ready to go. And to know that this has been happening more and more just makes me wonder if something is wrong/broken in the process as it didn't use to be this way.
Terry V. Kelley, MD, is a board-certified OB-GYN who provides exceptional care to his patients at OB-GYN Associates of Marietta in Marietta and Woodstock, Georgia.
Dr. Kelley graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, and returned to Macon for his postgraduate training, completing his internship at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and his residency at Mercer University/Medical Center of Central Georgia.
Dr. Kelley is active in his field and is a proud member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Southern Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the North American Menopause Society, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He’s also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Prior to joining the team at OB-GYN Associates of Marietta in 1985, Dr. Kelley held a number of respected leadership positions at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, including the Chairman of the hospital’s OB-GYN department. In addition to his current practice, he is also on the executive committee of the OBNET Women’s Healthcare Network and serves on the Task Force Committee for Women and Children Center.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their five children.

I’ve been going to this practice for almost 30 years. Dr Espy was my gyno and now Dr Kelly. Dr Tackitt did my hysterectomy and tomorrow Dr Needham will take out my ovaries. I’ve had two babies while with this group. So a long history here. I’ve always been very happy with everyone. Dr Kelly is wonderful. He listens, he spends time with you and advises. He is genuine to the core.

Very thorough and personable. Dr. Kelley is the best. Have been going to him for 36 years and will continue until he retires, hopefully not soon. I’m never rushed, he answers all my questions, and he’s a great listener. I’m a self pay, so you know he must be good as insurance would pay for my yearly checkups if I went elsewhere. I have been under Dr. Kelley's care for the last 21 years and have always appreciated his bedside manners! He is patient, informative and takes the time to listen. Dr. Kelley's head is not down, writing things. He pays attention to his patients. I am still grateful he delivered my last child 19 years ago, after losing my mom a month earlier!
