I haven't been to the dentist in 6 years, but I have insurance with my company and decided, why not, let's get my teeth cleaned. This is my first visit to the office. I chose this office because of its close proximity to home, butShow more it ended up being a pleasant experience. The nurses and Dr. Tran were friendly and patient as I asked questions, since it's been so long since I last checked my teeth. Dr. Tran was very informative about the state of my teeth, and I ended up getting a deep cleaning. I've done them before and I expected it to hurt a bit (which it did), but what I really appreciated was Dr. Tran being very considerate throughout the entire process. Before beginning he gave me options on how to deal with the pain from the cleaning (numbing agent via needle injection or just numbing gel), and to lift my hand to indicate if he needed to stop, in case I was in too much pain or had questions. There were a couple of instances I had to stop him and he was patient throughout it all. I've been to dentists who don't really care and just want to get the job done as fast as possible, so this was nice. Overall, I would recommend this office :).

Dr. Tran began his professional pursuits at the University of California, Riverside where he earned his Bachelor of Science. DR Tran was in the masters program for physiology at Cal State Los Angeles , and recieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from University of the Pacific’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Tran began his career at Dedicated Dental Systems, Inc. in Bakersfield, California. Since then, he’s held the position of general dentist at several private practices throughout the state, ultimately settling at Long Beach Family Dental Group.

Absolutely the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. The staff was friendly, I didn’t have to wait to be seen and the dentist was knowledgeable and friendly. I’ve had terrible experiences in the past with other dental offices. I’m so happy to have found this place.

I love this dentist office I've been taking my kids since they turned 1 the staff here is the best they know what they are doing and they are great with the kids.
Dr. Tran talked me through the procedure and it made me feel at eased because I knew what was going to happen.
