Michael is an exceptional therapist. I’ve worked with quite a few therapists over the years and I would have to say that therapy with Michael has been a game changer for me. I feel truly understood, and that his perceptiveness hasShow more been demonstrated by his analysis and distillation of the core issues I’ve brought into the room. Michael is very supportive and empathic. In just 6 months I feel an easing up of my anxiety and sadness, moving towards a much healthier place. He has a thorough working command of several therapeutic modalities, both in theory and clinical application.
Erin is the first therapist I have had any experience with. She was a good fit, as we had a similar background. She was empathetic and gentle with her suggestions for dealing with my issues. She was also very good at encouraging aShow morend allowing me to talk. She seemed to remember everything I said and was able to find connections. My only complaint would be that I would have liked a therapist closer to my age. My being 30 years older than Erin meant that she had not experienced many of the life challenges I have experienced.

Michael is a patient and insightful listener. One senses he has genuine interest in getting a full understanding of who you are.

Michael Buckhout is an empathetic and warm presence, with a clear perspective on the work they do with the client. I am often amazed at our time together, where I feel guided towards the complex, nuanced explanations for the concerns I have. Thank you Michael
Finding this practice in general, and specifically working with Michael as my therapist has been transformative. I could not recommend highly enough.
Rachel is the most loving and caring person I know. My kids always leaves her office happy and looking forward to her next session.
Michael is warm, engaging, and insightful. I find he is able to tailor our sessions to the particular needs I have each day. Best therapist experience of my life!
This is my first time in therapy and my experience has been exceptional.
Erin Heaslip helped me a great deal, and I’ve improved since seeing her. I am however still trying to work out a billing issue with my visits

I’m very satisfied with Michael’s treatment plan, his efforts to understand my concerns, he is great listener but also goes well beyond validation into effective therapy and the establishment of a solid therapeutic alliance.
Excellent experience. I found you to be very friendly and I was completely at ease speaking with you. Looking forward to future sessions!
challenging and attentive
Ally allows me to open up without pushing. She takes her time and when she sees that things are getting a little to heavy in the session she changes the subject to something she knows I enjoy to allow me to take a much needed moment to regain myself.
Mixed impressions: I liked Michael and felt that therapy with him could work out, although one never knows after only one session. I was disappointed with the physical space. Therapy room felt cramped- I’d prefer a bit more comfortable distance between the therapist and me. The waiting room felt very untidy, even dirty, and I would not feel happy sitting there.
Helped a lot.
Rachel is amazing and very loving.
Rachel is patient, kind, and considerate when dealing with our daughter. She helps her to come up with the best ways to deal with her anxiety and how to navigate the world as a teenager.
