I had a cancer and 4 other lesions removed from my wrist, hands and over my eyebrow. Normally the precancerous lesions hurt for days and days after and I !ve never had a cancer removed by him. Dr Quinterro and Rita, his assistanShow moret, were very kind , checking on my tolerance throughout, and they were very thorough and made certain that everything was thoroughly removed and I am very grateful and I am as confident as they are that they got it all. I have a personal hallelujah I’d like to share. After some significant pain after the removal of the lesion on my left hand, through the prayers of my best girlfriend and my wonderful husband (my best girlfriend specifically prayed that I would have NO pain afterward. I didn’t know that going in either that that was what she was praying.) I have had no pain after surgery after that one bad one which eased in a very short time! I have taken Tylenol and Ibuprophen but nothing ever took my pain completely before!! I completely credit those prayers and my Lord’s Great Love and Mercy to Answer them for this!! Thank you Lord Jesus! God bless all of you there. What we do here has eternal value only as we do it for the Glory of God. We live for His Smile, for His Pleasure to rejoice His Soul and sow into His Kingdom. I am so grateful that you know this and do all that you do as unto Him and for Hus Pleasure and Glory. Dr Quintero is very through and he listens to your concerns. He identified and removed a skin concern from my temple. I would recommend his practice to everyone. My first visit was in November 2022. I had been to another DermatShow moreologist and he had found a skin cancer on my right knee. The first words out of his mouth was I had to have 20 weeks of radiation 2 times a week. I got a second option from Dr Quintero and he said it could be removed by surgery which he did. I will be hard pressed to ever go somewhere else.

Dr. Quintero was born and raised in the small border town of Mission, Texas, in a family of nine children. He used his love of math and science to earn a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin. He then pursued his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Quintero specializes in treating diseases of the skin, hair, and nails, and has a special interest in the treatment of psoriasis and hair loss. As a native Texan, and with his desire to practice in a small town, Dr. Quintero’s professional career brought him to New Braunfels, where he began in private practice in 2001.

Efficient. Did not leave after care directions for flat mole removal though.
Dr. Quintero has recently treated me for sun damage. He and his staff were very friendly, professional, and efficient. I recommend Hill County Dermatology to anyone needing skin care.
Staff was friendly and was called into office at a reasonable wait time. I was hoping the dr would have a better diagnostic answer. But he was friendly and very reassuring. I would go back to him in the future.
