They make you feel very comfortable and have this beautiful designed office instead of pictures of the anatomy of the body or Show moreuterus. Any problems or concerns all staff member members are very quick to help. 10/10 doctors and staff here. Jacqueline Elyse Kohl, MD, is an experienced obstetrician and gynecologist at Philadelphia Women's Health & Wellness in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Kohl believes that the patient-provider relationship is the most important partnership. She incorporates evidence-based practice, recommendations, and experience, and is sure to fully engage her patients in their plan of treatment.
Dr. Kohl earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 2006 at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2011, she earned both her master’s degree in public health as well as her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, she began her residency in obstetrics and gynecology with Abington Jefferson Health, serving as Administrative Chief Resident from 2014 to 2015. After spending two years working at the Hanjani Institute for Gynecologic Oncology in Abington, Pennsylvania, Dr. Kohl developed a special interest in gynecologic surgery using a minimally invasive approach, which she carries into her medical practice today.
In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Kohl has served as a volunteer and a leader in various capacities. She developed a teaching curriculum for women’s health topics at a women’s homeless shelter and has provided prenatal and postpartum support to underserved women and children in the Philadelphia area. Dr. Kohl has also taken her medical expertise abroad by assisting with labor and deliveries at a district hospital in Rwanda. Committed to staying current on advancements in her field, Dr. Kohl is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Kohl has conducted research on many topics pertaining to treatment interventions and techniques related to women’s health and gynecology. She has also published and presented research related to the genetic variations evidenced in bipolar disorder, and comorbidities of individuals with new daily persistent headaches and transformed migraines.

Having to ask medical professionals to wear high quality respirators shouldn’t feel like pulling teeth. It’s disappointing that immunocompromised patients arent protected in the one place you’d expect they’d be prioritized.

As a senior citizen (76), I felt I needed some help from a gynecologist for some issues I was dealing with. Dr. Myers gave me the information I needed and a long overdue PAP smear. She was kind and considerate and I would definitely go back again.

Dr. Kohl is kind, patient, and personable. She is always willing to listen to any issues I have and offers a variety of solutions. I’m so glad I found this practice. I have recommended it to a number of friends who have had similarly wonderful experiences.
Very kind and she listens, no rushing to just do an exam and send you on your way. She keeps eye contact and gives you a solution. Glad that I have her for a doctor what made me uncomfortable, she made me very comfortable and everything she said;made sense.

I appreciate this doctor's professionalism and interest in what is going on in her patients' lives, both medically and otherwise. We were not rushed and as this way my second visit for a routine checkup, it was my second time exclaiming to my daughter (also a patient) how much we like Doctor Myers. Highly recommended.
Dr. Myers is the best!!! She truly takes the time to listen to your concerns!! She is patient, kind and understanding. I travel over 40 minutes for my appointments. I will not go to another practice.

Dr. Myers is the best Ob/Gyn I have ever had. She listens to my concerns and always gives me the best advice. I had a heavy menstrual for years which was also very painful. She ordered multiple test so she could properly diagnose my issue. Now I have a much lighter menstrual thanks to her addressing my concerns. Today I seen her and again she is making sure I stay healthy by making sure I keep up on my yearly mammogram exams as well as recommending me to get a colonoscopy because she cares about her patients and she knows I am getting older. My other Ob/ gyn never listened to me which why I had to switch to Dr.Myers. The best decision I made especially for me being a black woman. It is a known fact doctors don’t listen to us but she does. Thank you Dr. Myers.
