I have been a patient of Dr. Adefris for a few years and have seen nearly all the providers at some point throughout my pregnancies. Everyone at this office is so kind and knowledgeable. I’ve always felt well cared for whenever I Show moream there by everyone from the coordinating staff to Dr. Adefris herself. Honestly every single person who works with this group is phenomenal. Phone calls are returned promptly, the online check-in is easy and saves time, and again, the staff is all very nice and friendly. I recommend this group to everyone who has Ob/gyn needs
I am a long time patient of Dr Toppin who retired this year so I scheduled my annual exam with Dr. Adefris. Dr. Adefris was absolutely amazing. She listened to my concerns, thoroughly answered my questions and made recommendatiShow moreons that we clear and concise. Dr Adefris had a very welcoming bedside. I am so sad to know that she will be retiring too in the near future. What an amazing practice that she and Dr. Toppin built. What a wonderful legacy.
Wanda P. Adefris, MD, FACOG, is a compassionate and dedicated OB/GYN physician, surgeon and a founding partner of Adefris & Toppin Women’s Specialists, M.D.P.C., in Woodbury, Minnesota. She is an expert in a wide range of OB/GYN services and has come to be well-loved by both her patients and colleagues alike.
Dr. Adefris earned her undergraduate degree at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, before moving on to Temple University in Philadelphia, where she obtained her medical degree. Following medical school, Dr. Adefris completed both her internship and residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Following several years of private practice in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Adefris and her family moved to Minneapolis, where she has been ever since.
Dr. Adefris is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the American Medical Association (AMA). She has served on the Advisory Board of The U of M and The Medical Protective Committee. Throughout her career, Dr. Adefris has earned numerous awards and distinctions for her outstanding care, including being recognized as a Super Doctor in the Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2014, the Best Doctors for Women in Minnesota Monthly, and the 2015-2016 “Who’s Who” Top Doctors Honor Edition. In addition, Dr. Adefris has been recognized by The International Association of Obstetrics & Gynecologists as the Top Obstetrician/Gynecologist in Woodbury, Minnesota. Dr. Adefris has been recognized for her high level of clinical excellence, being named as Top Doctor by Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Dr Adefris's bedside manner is so wonderful, I referred my own daughter to her. She took the time to answer all my questions and always makes me feel like I've been seen and heard.
She was nice and answered my questions, but with short answer. Therefore, I felt rushed, unfriendly and short answer.
