Wendy has experience working with children, teenagers, college students and adults in a variety of community-based clinical settings. Because of her extensive background working within the early education field, Wendy believes in developing partnerships with individuals and families, extending that alliance to include additional professionals who are a part of her clients’ lives such as teachers, guidance counselors and pediatricians.
When working with individuals and families, Wendy takes a person-centered approach and draws on interventions from a variety of orientations including mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and play therapy to best suit the needs of her clients. Wendy has experience working with individuals dealing with symptoms related to anxiety, depression, trauma, Autism, ADHD, chronic illness, and mood disorders. While Wendy works with individuals to achieve the goals they have set for the future and develop the compassion they need to be comfortable with themselves.
