I've only seen Doctor Salem once, so far for the first visit, and already I have found he surpasses his colleagues by a long shot! I'm a unique case when it comes to medications and the strange effects they have on my system and Show moresuch. He sees me as an individual rather than clumping me in with the masses! He takes the time to listen carefully and works WITH me so that we can make the right choices for ME. He adjusted the needed medications so that my body can tolerate them and he readily concocts a plan of action so that we can quickly resolve my heart issues. He gives me viable options and solutions rather than just telling me "This is what you will to do!" All of his staff has outstanding skills, manners, and are very affable! I'm an exceptionally hard blood draw--often taking 2-3 or more tries to get a good flow; but Dr. Salem's nurse got me on the first try! I've also had an instance where I had to contact them with a question and concern via their website and they reached out to me within just a few hours! I have full confidence in Doctor Salem and his team and I am looking forward to working with them!
Dr. Salem has literally helped save my life! As a new cardiac patient, Dr. Salem not only diagnosed some serious issues of my heart/aneurysm, he found the cancer tumor in my pancreas and their office set me up with Mayo Clinic riShow moreght away! Mayo was able to remove the tumor. I continued to have complications from surgery which even the Mayo doctors had missed. Thankfully, Dr Salem was able to discern the serious issues both times and Mayo then fixed the problems with a couple more surgeries. On a scale of 1-10, Dr Salem is a 10!!! I drive 1 hr 17 min to have him care for me and eventually fix my heart and aneurysms. I trust him literally with my life!

Dr. Salem graduated from The University of Alexandria Faculty of Medicine in 1994. After leaving Egypt, he moved to the United States and completed both his residency in internal medicine and his cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. His professional expertise includes both cardiac trauma care and heart transplants. He has been in practice for over 23 years and continues to pursue his education in cardiovascular medicine. I like my Doctors, he takes great care of my health concerns.
Wonderful friendly staff and Dr Salem is so caring and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of my questions in detail. I’m in best hands at the Heart Failure Center of America. ❤️
Needed emergency surgery and Dr Salem was nice enough to fit me in and fill in a pre-op. Most doctors today wouldn’t do that. He is tops in my book.
He waists no time and really wants to know how you tick. This was my first time seeing him and he’s already checked by pacemaker and has ordered tests for the near future. He’s very thorough and says he’s going to be the one doing the tests himself. After my first meeting I’m very satisfied with him.

Dr Salem is very thorough and takes whatever time is needed to explain test results. He explains the treatment plan and wants to be sure you understand the plan. He is willing to listen to concerns and helps to alleviate any confusion.
Dr Salem is awesome he explains everything that I need to know and always answers my questions. He has always spent time in the exam room. Some doctors rush but not Dr Salem. He’s always at the hospital if your in the hospital every day. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Salem is very through but for me so much was said I was overwhelmed!! The nurse said that I could call her but I don’t know what to ask. I have paperwork for lab work but I don’t know when I am to do any of the things I was to do!!
