Through active listening and thoughtful questions, I hope to make a difference in each of my patient's lives for the better. “I have been seeing psychiatrists for the last 10 years and no doctor has been as fantastic as Dr. Kunam. She really listened to my concerns and we discussed treatment collaboratively. I’m so happy to have found her!”
“I have had a lot of different doctors in my life for dual diagnosis and I have to say Dr. Kunam is so very very caring. He is compassionate and gives grace. He is very wise and his assistant Brianna and the rest of the staff have always been caring and they respond very quickly and are helpful always. I am a Suboxone patient and I feel safe with him. He has also helped me to wean off a 8 year Valium addiction. I am so grateful. He is a national treasure. I wish he would train other doctors .”

“I have been working in residential care for 15 years and I have never met such a caring, knowledgeable and personable psychiatrist. Dr. Sal sees all the youth at our residential facility, the youth are 12-21 years old and it’s very difficult to build rapport with them, but Dr. Sal was able to feel the youth safe and cared for enough for them to trust him and share their needs. He never rushes appointments and he never pushes meds. The entire team is amazing! I am so grateful for their help!”
