Dr. Sandeep Mendiratta completed a combined BS/MD accelerated program at Northeast Ohio Medical University. From there, he went on to be trained at the University of Florida and subsequently became a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Mendiratta has significant clinical inpatient and office experience with adults, adolescent and children across different disciplines of psychiatry, neuropsychiatry and addiction medicine. He is also ECT (electroconvulsive therapy) certified and Suboxone certified for opiate addiction. After completing medical school at Ain Shams University in Cairo, I moved to Chicago for my psychiatry residency program at Rosalind Franklin University which was a great launching pad for my career in Psychiatry.
I am a Board Certified adult psychiatrist with varied experiences in both inpatient and outpatient practice. I am especially interested in pharmacologically challenging cases and handling co-morbidities. I am comfortable with the geriatric population and love to provide supportive therapy as well since psychiatry should never only be about the prescription.
