I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I obtained my MSN from Monmouth University, and became board certified with the ANCC. I have over 10 years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field in emergency crisis with adult clients from ages 18-65. Through my years as a staff nurse, I found my passion for mental health and desired to be apart of the change in ending the stigma surrounded by substance abuse and mental health.
I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, inter-professional collaboration and evidenced-based practice. My goal for my clients is to feel empowered to treat their illness through supportive education in a stigma free environment.
“Intake session with Nichole was thorough and goal oriented. She listened intently and allowed me to provide input so that I could participate in my treatment path.”

As an emergency room nurse for over 10 years, I knew that I wanted to help to reduce the stigma and improve mental health care. To do this, I obtained my MSN from Monmouth University, and became board certified with the ANCC. I have experience working at a non-profit IOP program for dual diagnosis clients, as well as a busy emergency room with a heavy psychiatric presence. I look forward to helping increase the availability of quality mental health care to my clients.
I believe in the idea that we, as therapists, can collaborate with clients to help them discover and reveal themselves in a safe, nonjudgmental space. By cultivating self-awareness and compassion, I seek to help clients explore their own experiences, alleviate fear, and move in the direction of their own choosing and calling. I believe that each person has the capacity to improve their mental health, their wellbeing, and by extension the lives of countless others.
I am inspired to support clients with anxiety, depression, body image, disordered eating, identity, life stage transitions, interpersonal relationships, sexuality, parenting, family conflict, attachment, loss, and grief. By not taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I keep the clients and their interests at the center.
Reaching out to a therapist can feel challenging, but I invite you to take the first step toward caring for yourself. I look forward to meeting you where you are and moving forward together.
