I have been an accomplished psychiatrist for 30+ years, specialized in general adult psychiatry, hospital based consultation psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, Addiction psychiatry -with extensive experience in clinical care with expertise in psychiatry and behavioral neurosciences, addiction and geriatric psychiatry.
Affiliate Professor at Loyola University Chicago.
I am fortunate that I was formally trained in novel treatments for the betterments of treatment resistant patients, TMS at two of the top TMS centres in the world; Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) at the hands of Prof Ziad Nahas and Prof Mark George who was the first psychiatrist to use TMS to treat depression in the early 90s; and at Duke University under Prof Sarah Lisanby, now the Director of Translational Research at the NIH.
Excited to to be starting Ketamine Infusion Therapy soon to have all the available treatment modalities to provide the best possible and novel modalities as indicated.
I serve as Chief Medical Officer at Relief Mental Health. I am a board-certified neuropsychiatrist, quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG) diplomat, and an accomplished, executive-level medical administrator.
I am passionate, caring, and dedicated to the study of brain sciences. I draw on my knowledge and experience to find the best solution for each of my patients.
I specialize in the treatment of depression, OCD, and other mental health conditions. Using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) in conjunction with state-of-the-art diagnostics, psychedelic therapy (SPRAVATO® esketamine nasal spray or IV ketamine), and other collaborative interventions, I have a track record of outstanding results.
I develop and apply a proprietary method of medication selection, and strongly believe that Deep TMS technology is highly effective in the treatment of psychiatric conditions, especially in cases where traditional methods have failed or proved an inadequate level of relief.
