Sandra was born and raised in eastern Kentucky. Her nursing career began in 2000, and she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Western Governor's University. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree specializing in psychiatry from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky.
Sandra is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and licensed in FL, NC, SC, and IL.

Nelson Monroy, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist at Sunshine Psychiatry in Fort Myers, Florida. A proud member of the practice since its founding in 2018, he currently serves as one of its collaborating doctors.
Dr. Monroy was born in El Salvador, Central America, and is fluent in Spanish and English. He attended the Universidad de El Salvador, earning his doctorate in 1987.

Kim's focus at The Blend Institute combines her nutrition background with traditional psychiatric treatment practices, including psychotherapy, and psychiatric medication management. She views patient symptom presentations from a biochemical and psychological perspective.
