I have worked in a variety of settings throughout my nursing career providing quality and evidence-based care to all my patients.
After working the frontline throughout the COVID pandemic and seeing firsthand the mental health crisis, I decided to pursue a career in psychiatry/mental health. Dr. Cohen is board certified and Diplomate in General Adult Psychiatry. He has over 16 years of experience in the treatment of mental illness and conditions at various stages of intensity and treatment options. Dr. Cohen has previous experience providing psychiatric care for the Hanley Hazelton Center in West Palm Beach, FL. He has also provided addictions services in Miami, FL. He completed his internship and residency in South Miami, Florida. He has worked both with inpatient stabilization as well as outpatient level of care to best fit the needs of the patient.
Dr. Cohen earned his Doctor of Osteopathy at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL completing his degree within the top 10% of his graduating class and Dean's List.
