I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. My philosophy is an integrative approach in treating the whole person -- including the biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual factors. I emphasize education so you feel empowered and understand why medication may be necessary, what the medication is, and why you are taking it. While medications are an important part of treatment, they are often times not the long-term solution. We can carefully weigh the potential benefits and risks to find the best option for you.
My primary goal is to make sure that I provide the best care to my patients. In some cases, the limitations of outpatient treatment do not allow the ability to provide the level of care that I think you deserve. I can provide feedback, temporary services, and assistance with referral options.

She received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis Missouri and went on to obtain her medical degree from The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Regina K. Fong, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Victory Recovery Partners, with locations in Farmingville, Shirley, and Massapequa, New York. She specializes in providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and developing customized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of her patients.
Regina began her education at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and economics in 2006. Six years later, she decided to change her career focus and returned to college to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Stony Brook University School of Nursing in New York, where she graduated with honors and achieved the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholar award.
Next, she specialized her nursing education with a master’s degree in psychiatric mental health advanced practice nursing at the Columbia University School of Nursing in New York City.
Regina began her nursing career in medical oncology, where she managed care for severely ill patients in a 30-bed medical oncology unit for two years. She then gained valuable psychiatric care experience working in an adult inpatient psychiatric unit, treating people with substance use disorders, schizophrenia, and anxiety and panic disorders before moving into psychiatric nurse practitioner roles.
Regina is a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
