With a strong commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment, Catherine helps clients navigate challenges, discover resilience, and take meaningful steps toward lasting change.
Throughout her career, Catherine has gained extensive experience working with individuals facing a variety of mental health concerns, including insomnia, trauma, addiction, and co-occurring disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI). She also specializes in supporting clients living with anxiety and depression, offering evidence-based strategies that promote healing, growth, and empowerment.
Her counseling philosophy centers on meeting each client where they are, while helping them build on their strengths and develop effective tools to improve their mental health and overall well-being. I am a dedicated, curious and compassionate individual who was drawn to the profession of social work to help serve and make a difference in my community. With 10 years of experience in helping individuals navigate the daily stressors and challenges of life, I am forever grateful for the opportunity and privilege to help others. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University and obtained my clinical license in both New Jersey and New York state.
My previous experience includes working at both the clinical and administrative level. My employment has crossed the non-profit sector, medical, in-home services, addictions treatment, forensics, as well as outpatient psychiatry. With additional certification, I am fortunate to supervise social workers in their journey of becoming independent practitioners.
I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of beautiful humans from different walks of life with a range of mental health conditions. My approach includes a mix of evidenced based modalities to meet clients where they are at, collaborate together, empower them to learn more about themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, and build connections with more purpose in their daily lives.
