Dr. Katie Doody is a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility specialist at CARE Fertility. She completed her undergraduate studies at Rice University and earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Doody completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at UT Southwestern where she was Chief Resident. She further specialized with a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Doody strives to provide excellent, personalized, and comprehensive care for her patients. She received the Peggy Whaley Medicus Award in 2021, for her outstanding professionalism, integrity, and dedication to her patients. She was also awarded the UT Southwestern OBGYN Minimally Invasive Surgery Resident Award in 2020 for her dedication and passion for providing advanced surgical care.
Dr. Doody’s clinical interests focus on fertility preservation and increasing access to fertility care, reflecting her commitment to helping patients achieve their family-building goals. Dr. Kimberly Yau is a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) specialist at CARE Fertility, committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Fluent in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, she strives to create an inclusive and supportive environment for patients from all backgrounds. She is dedicated to guiding patients through their unique fertility journeys and helping them achieve their family-building goals with empathy, expertise, and evidence-based medicine.
Originally from Atlanta, Dr. Yau graduated with High Honors from the University of Georgia with dual bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry, a minor in Spanish, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia and completed her OB/GYN residency at UT Southwestern/Parkland Hospital, where she was selected as an Administrative Chief Resident. She then completed her fellowship in REI at the University of Southern California before returning to Texas.
Dr. Yau's clinical and research interests include polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), third-party reproduction, quality improvement, and expanding access to fertility care. She is recognized for both her clinical excellence and surgical proficiency—earning the 2021 Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. For her commitment to advancing reproductive medicine, she received the 2023 USC Broad Clinical Research Fellow Award for her innovative stem cell research at the USC Broad CIRM Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research.
Outside of work, Dr. Yau enjoys staying active with Orangetheory and pilates, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and mini dachshund, Harry.
Robin Thomas, MD, fluent in Spanish, is proud to be part of the team at CARE Fertility, formally known as the Center for Assisted Reproduction, for more than a decade. A Texas native, Dr. Thomas assists residents of Fort Worth, Texas, as they move closer to their goal of growing their families.
Education has always been a central focus for Dr. Thomas. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas, where she earned a degree in biomedical sciences. She completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas.
She further refined her skills and deepened her knowledge through a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She continues to seek out opportunities to stay on the cutting edge of reproductive endocrinology and infertility care.

Anat Chemerinski, MD, is a highly skilled and board-certified reproductive endocrinologist, infertility specialist, and integral part of the team at University Reproductive Associates. Kavitha Persaud, MD, is a double board-certified physician who works at the University Reproductive Associates offices in Wayne, New Jersey, and Goshen, New York, covers Doc of the Day at Hasbrouck Heights, and provides care there as needed.
A New Jersey native, Dr. Persaud received her Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, before completing her medical degree at the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She then completed her REI fellowship at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School, following in the footsteps of University Reproductive Associates physicians Peter McGovern, MD, Susan Wolf, MD, Adam Fechner, MD, and Sara Morelli, MD, PhD. It was during Dr. Persaud’s fellowship that she learned about University Reproductive Associates and knew that was where she hoped to practice.
Dr. Persaud’s three-year REI fellowship consisted of 18 months of research followed by another 18 months of clinical experience, predominantly at University Reproductive Associates, where she worked one-on-one with all of the physicians in the group practice to learn about reproductive endocrinology and infertility, assisting with surgeries and observing how they interact with patients.
Dr. Persaud knew she wanted to specialize in obstetrics as she loved the prospect of bringing life into the world. She was drawn to the subspecialty of infertility because it was a way of helping couples become families through the ever-changing technological and medical treatments and procedures.
Rita Gulati, MD, is an accomplished, double board-certified Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility specialist. She sees patients at University Reproductive Associates in Wayne, New Jersey.
Dr. Gulati achieved her Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, in a 6-year accelerated BS/MD program, where she distinguished herself by graduating cum laude. Dr. Gulati completed her medical degree at Albany Medical College and her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Emory University School of Medicine. Her training culminated with a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Connecticut Health Center.
For more than 20 years, Dr. Gulati has offered compassionate women’s reproductive health care to her patients throughout the New York Metropolitan area. Her areas of expertise include infertility, PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), fertility preservation, third-party reproduction, and recurrent pregnancy loss. “I want my patients to feel welcomed and most importantly, heard,” she explains. “They each have a unique story and a different journey than anyone else.
