Shirley Tennyson is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with special interest and training in voice disorders. As a mezzo-soprano and an actress, her background as a soloist in opera, recital, and oratorio led her to specialization in working with singers, actors, and other professional voice users. She graduated with Master's Degrees from Ohio University and Columbia University.
She provides voice evaluations and voice therapy in our office while also maintaining a private practice in Manhattan where she specializes in working with all types of voice disorders and especially those impacting the professional voice user.

Karine Rocha de Benedicto, M.S., C.C.C. is a bilingual licensed and certified speech-language pathologist who joined our team in 2021. Karine provides speech therapy services to patients of all ages and diagnoses. A graduate of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, Karine’s passions include aphasia, dysarthria, and cognitive communication disorders. Passionate about making an impact in the lives of her patients, Karine strives to provide them with person centered quality care that empowers, enhances, and supports development, preservation and rehabilitation of communication cognition and social and emotional skills. Karine leads our social skills groups and vocational training programs. In her free time she enjoys reading, photography, and walks in the woods!
