He went on to complete his general surgery residency at NYU Langone Health – Brooklyn, where he graduated as chief resident. Following residency, Dr. Schulberg completed a fellowship in minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery at the University of Texas Houston, McGovern Medical School, one of the highest volume robotic colorectal surgery programs in the nation. While in Houston, he received advanced training and additional certification in minimally invasive robotic surgical techniques.
Dr. Schulberg is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and has presented at both national and international surgical conferences. He is a member of SAGES, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society of Colorectal Surgeons. Dr. Schulberg’s practice focuses on using minimally invasive techniques, such as the DaVinci Robot and laparoscopy, to care for patients and improve postoperative outcomes. Marc E.
