After serving our country, as a medic, in the US Army I became to realize the pleasure & satisfaction of providing care for those in need of medical assistance.
Completing my educational requirements to become a Physician Assistant was not without challenge. It wasn't until 1993 that I graduated from Western Michigan University.
Since 1993 I have worked in both emergency & urgent care medicine with the majority, 19 years +, of my career spent working in the Emergency Department at Hurley Medical Center.
It was with great honor that I served the community of Flint which was often those with economic challenges and limited access to care. This experience, Level 1 trauma center, has provided my the experience, education and knowledge required to function at the highest capacity.
