Daniel J. Cosgrove, MD, FACS, is a board-certified urologist at Advantage Urology in Encino, California, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been in practice for nearly two decades. Dr. Cosgrove specializes in the evaluation and management of cancers, diseases, and disorders that affect the genitourinary tract. After completing residency, he joined his father, Dr. Malcolm D. Cosgrove, MD, in practice in Encino.

In addition to his office practice in Encino, Dr. Cosgrove is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Southern California and is a member of the Cedars-Sinai Valley Network of Specialists. He is affiliated with several hospitals in the San Fernando Valley, including Providence-Cedars Sinai Tarzana Medical Center, Northridge Hospital Medical Center, and Encino Hospital Medical Center as well as the Encino Plaza Surgical Center.

Away from his practice, Dr. Cosgrove loves spending time with his wife, Dr. Gaby Cosgrove, DMD, and their two children. Dr. Cosgrove enjoys running, music, and the Dodgers. He coached Little League Baseball and Softball for many years. He plays competitive Fastpitch Softball and won a Gold Medal as a member of the USA Men’s Fastpitch Softball Team at the 2017 International Maccabi Games in Israel.

Meet Dr. Movassaghi

Mehran Movassaghi, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship trained urologist treating patients in Santa Monica California. He has vast experience with endourology and men’s health. He provides a variety of treatments for conditions including prostate enlargement and cancer, low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, testicular cancer, kidney stones, and infertility including vasectomies. Before joining St. John’s Physician Partners, Dr. Movassaghi began the first of its kind comprehensive men’s health program in the Los Angeles area.

Dr. Movassaghi earned his medical degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, Geffen School of Medicine. He then served his internship at Stanford University Hospital & Clinics and his residencies at Stanford University Hospital & Clinic and USC (University of Southern California). He later completed a prestigious fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Movassaghi is a member of the American Urological Association, the Endourological Society and sits on the board of the American Society for Men’s Health.
