Dr. Maccini treats a wide spectrum of urologic conditions, including urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, and prostate, bladder, and testicular cancer. After medical school, Dr. Pearce completed a six-year urology residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, — the highest volume, minimally invasive robotic surgery program in Illinois. During his residency, Dr. Pearce logged over 350 robotic cases and trained with prestigious experts in bladder, prostate, testicular, and kidney cancer.
His residency ignited an interest in caring for patients with advanced urologic cancers, and Dr. Pearce completed a two-year Society of Urologic Oncology-accredited fellowship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
At USC and LA County Medical Center in Los Angeles, Dr. Pearce continued comprehensive training and performed hundreds of complex open and robotic surgeries with internationally recognized leaders in the field at the premier urologic oncology program.
Always learning and furthering his skills, Dr. Pearce is involved in numerous research and teaching pursuits. He performs basic science research and population-based health outcomes research to better understand and treat patients with urological cancers.
Dr. Pearce has published over 40 peer-reviewed textbook chapters and journal articles. He serves as peer-reviewer for several major urologic journals and was awarded the Resident and Medical Student Teaching Award during his fellowship. Dr. Pearce also teaches as a clinical assistant professor at Washington State University College of Medicine in Spokane.

Bryan Voelzke, MD, FACS, is a board-certified urologic reconstructive surgeon providing quality services for men and women at Spokane Urology in Spokane, Washington. He’s also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Voelzke finished his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas. He completed his urology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Hines, Illinois, before finishing a one-year advanced clinical urology fellowship in Melbourne, Australia.
Dr. Voelzke completed a fellowship in genitourinary reconstruction and trauma at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center with Dr. Jack McAninch before joining the Department of Urology at the University of Washington in 2008. He also achieved a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology in 2013.
Since 2008, Dr. Voelzke has lived in the Pacific Northwest. His prior academic practice was devoted to reconstructive urology at the University of Washington/Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Voelzke connects with a broad network of physicians across the Pacific Northwest to provide surgical and medical care for men and women with complex urologic reconstructive issues. He routinely treats patients with issues such as urethral stricture disease, stress urinary incontinence, Peyronie’s disease, and genital reconstruction following skin malignancies.
Dr. Voelzke has a special interest in the reconstruction of the bladder and ureter following radiation for pelvic malignancy and other injuries. Dr. Voelzke has previously performed over 110 reconstructive cases yearly and was the only reconstructive urologist in the Seattle area performing certain advanced urologic surgical procedures.

Dr. Voelzke is a proud founder of the Trauma and Urologic Reconstructive Network of Surgeons (TURNS) — a group of reconstructive urologists across multiple academic centers that collaborate in the study of urologic reconstruction. Dr. Mikkelsen is a native of the Inland Northwest in Washington. He was raised in Western Montana and attended Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, before graduating from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.
He finished a urologic surgical residency and a surgical internship at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, before joining the qualified providers of Spokane Urology in 1990.

Evan Carlos, MD is a diligent and compassionate urologist who practices the full breadth of adult urology at Spokane Urology in Spokane, Washington. With the whole person in mind, Dr. Carlos empowers patients to reach their health goals.
Dr. Carlos completed his undergraduate education at the University of Washington where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. From there, he earned his medical degree at Loyola University Chicago – Stritch School of Medicine.
After Chicago, Dr. Carlos then headed south to Durham, North Carolina where he completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center. Under the guidance of world experts, Dr. Carlos developed expertise in a multitude of minimally invasive techniques to treat urologic cancers, kidney stones, enlarged prostates, erectile dysfunction, male incontinence, and vasectomy.

Dr. Carlos and has also completed a research fellowship focused on laser surgery to treat kidney stones and enlarged prostates. He has extensive clinical experience in these techniques as well. Carl Walker, MD, is a compassionate and skilled urologist at Spokane Urology in Spokane, Washington, dedicated to providing the highest quality care for all his patients. He brings specific expertise in sacral neuromodulation, an advanced minimally-invasive procedure to treat overactive bladder/urinary and fecal incontinence, a highly prevalent and undertreated condition.
Dr. Walker was born and raised in Los Angeles and Orange County before attending Stanford University in Stanford, California, where he finished his Bachelor of Science in biology. He then graduated from medical school at the University of California, San Diego, in La Jolla, California.
Dr. Walker completed his six-year urologic residency at the UC San Diego Medical Center, Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, and VA Medical Center, La Jolla, California. During his training, he was able to develop proficiency in treating all aspects of urologic disease, including male and female voiding dysfunction, minimally invasive treatments for enlarged prostate, urinary incontinence, urinary stone disease management and prevention, and uro-oncology (prostate, renal, bladder, testicular cancer).
After his residency program, he relocated his wife and three young children to South Bend, Indiana, to start his private practice at South Bend Clinic, where he served as Surgery Department Chair. While on staff at Memorial Hospital/ Beacon Health System, he initiated the Da Vinci robotic surgery program and served as Chairman for the Department of Surgery. During his final years of residency training and early years in practice, he was commissioned as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Naval Reserve, proudly serving active duty and reservists. He also was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Indiana University Medical School in South Bend.
Dr. Walker has interests in comprehensive men’s health, given significant issues in men’s reluctance to seek timely care for very treatable disorders. He has vast experience in treating erectile dysfunction (ED) and providing vacuum erection device and penile injection training, ED medication monitoring, penile prosthesis placement, and advanced treatments in regenerative therapy for ED and Peyronie’s Disease (i.e. Shockwave therapy).
