Dr. Mendake grew up in India, where she was exposed to traditional healing methods from an early age. Dr. Mendake completed her medical training at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College in Indore, India and practiced there before emigrating to the United States. In 2009, she went back to school for a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she also studied herbology.
