Dr. Villalobos began his journey into the field of medicine by serving in the US Air Force as a medic. After being honorably discharged in 1992, he went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Chemistry from University of North Texas. He then proceeded to earn his medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
He began his internal Medicine Internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 1996, continued in his Internal Medical Residency at Allegheny General Hospital. He completed his Allergy/Clinical Immunology Fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2001 and has been in private practice since then. Dr. Eliseo Villalobos, MD, opened the Allergy Institute of San Antonio in 2008.
He is a member of the American Association of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (AAAI), Joint Commission of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (JCAAI), Texas Medical Association (TMA), San Antonio Allergy Society, and Bexar County Medical Society (BCMS).
