She earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida in 2016, a master’s degree in audiology from Hofstra University in 1998, and her Bachelor of Science degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Central Florida in 1995. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the local chapter of Florida American of Audiology (FLAA).
Dr. Livigni-De Armas was diagnosed with a severe to profound hearing loss at the age of two years old. She is a bilateral cochlear implant recipient, so she truly understands the struggles and hardships that come with hearing loss. She vowed to help others with hearing loss because she understands the true meaning of superior hearing.
She has extensive experience in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of hearing loss in adults. She's also well-versed in management of hearing aids and assistive devices.

Barak is a professional Hearing Aid Specialist with over 35 years of experience in the field of hearing. He has a passion for helping people with hearing loss to improve their quality of life. Barak specializes in testing, fitting, and programming of hearing aids and assistive listening devices. Throughout his career, Barak has been achieved numerous awards in the field of hearing aid fitting and patient care.
Barak is licensed by the State of Florida as a Hearing Aid Specialist (HAS). He earned his National Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Science (NBC/HIS) in 2011. He is a member of International Hearing Society (HIS). He has held licenses in several states over the years including Michigan and Kentucky.
In his spare time, Barak enjoys cooking, fishing, singing and playing both the piano and guitar.

Lindsey Kummerer, Au.D., CCC-A, is a board-certified audiologist who is dedicated to improving communication for patients of all ages with hearing loss. Dr. Kummerer believes in treating more than just hearing loss with amplification by providing continued counseling and support for patients and their loved ones during their hearing healthcare journey.
Dr. Kummerer graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2015. After working a few years at a fertility clinic, Dr. Kummerer decided to go back to school to pursue her dream of working in audiology. Dr. Kummerer graduated with her doctorate of audiology from the University of South Florida (USF) in 2023 after completing her clinical residency at Island Audiology in Honolulu and Vitale Ear, Nose & Throat in Wesley Chapel. Dr. Kummerer is currently continuing her education and interests in research by pursuing a Ph.D. at USF in communication sciences and disorders. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, playing volleyball, running, spending time with family and friends, and going to the beach.

Melissa Sirois, AuD, CCC-A, ABAC has 28 years of experience in the Audiology/Hearing Aid industry but has been a practicing audiologist for about 25 years. She is pleased to return to Vitale Ear, Nose, and Throat after a 9-year hiatus.
Dr. Sirois graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master's in Audiology. She then attended A.T. Still University to finish her doctorate in 2016. She received her Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language Hearing Association in 2001. She also received her second board certification from the American Board of Audiology in 2023.
As an audiologist, Dr. Sirois specializes in Hearing Aid Fitting and Dispensing. It is the most rewarding part of her career. She has fit hundreds of patients who have expressed great satisfaction with hearing aids and is looking forward to bringing that expertise to her patients in Wesley Chapel and Zephyrhills.
Dr. Sirois enjoys traveling the world with her husband and staying home with her 2 dogs in Plant City. She is a big Hidden Object game fan and a True Crime nut. She also enjoys movies, from old black-and-white movies to current releases. She is also a big aficionado of musicals and loves going to the theater.
Dr. Samara received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida in 2015. From there, she completed her Doctor of Audiology degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2022.
Dr. Samara was born with hearing loss in both ears and wears hearing devices. Because of this, she understands the difficulties of living with hearing loss and how audiological services can make a difference. She will go above and beyond to make sure her patients are satisfied with their hearing care.
Dr. Samara lives in Tampa with her parents, brother, and cat. Her hobbies include watching television, playing video games, and the occasional crochet.
