Hitesh Patel, MD, FACC, is a skilled cardiologist who is board-certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Patel sees patients at Cardiology Associates of Frederick in Frederick, Maryland. In addition to his practice, Dr. Patel is affiliated with Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Patel graduated Magna Cum Laude within three years from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He then obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Maryland Medical School.
Following his medical education, Dr. Patel completed an internal medicine residency at Temple University Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He rounded out his training by completing a Cardiology Fellowship at Temple University Medical Center, where he specialized in general cardiology.
Dr. Patel has expertise in Pacemaker and Defibrillator placement. He is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Patients of Dr. Patel can expect the highest level of patient-centered cardiology care.

Dr. Burris attended UC San Diego for his undergraduate and graduate degrees and then received his medical degree from UC Irvine where he subsequently completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship. He then completed his advanced fellowship training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Chicago where he focused on complex ablations and device implantation. In addition to his board certifications in both cardiac electrophysiology and cardiology, he is board certified in internal medicine and adult comprehensive echocardiography.

Dr. Gujja graduated from India’s Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College in Gulbarga, Karnataka, in 2003. He later completed an internal medicine internship at Long Island College Hospital in Long Island, New York, as well as fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. In addition to this comprehensive training, Dr. Gujja completed a third fellowship in endovascular intervention/peripheral at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

Karthik Gujja, MD, MPH, is a board-certified physician specializing in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and endovascular intervention. He currently treats patients at Long Island Heart&Vascular Specialist offices located in Bronx, Long Island, Queens, and Brooklyn. He is the Associate Director for Endovascular program at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Gujja graduated from India’s Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College in Gulbarga, Karnataka, in 2003. He later completed an internal medicine internship at Long Island College Hospital in Long Island, New York, as well as fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. In addition to this comprehensive training, Dr. Gujja completed a third fellowship in endovascular intervention/peripheral at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

Ravindra Kolaventy, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist at Florida Hearts, which has three locations in Chiefland, The Villages, and Ocala, Florida. Dr. Kolaventy has over 30 years of experience practicing medicine and is dedicated to sharing his refined expertise with individuals living in and around Marion County.
Dr. Kolaventy earned his bachelor's degree in medicine from Jawaharlal Institute in Pondicherry, India. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at Kakatiya Medical College, located in Warangal, India. He then completed his internal medicine internship and residency and his cardiology fellowship at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University.
At Florida Hearts, Dr. Kolaventy takes great pride in providing exceptional care to every patient. He is a deft communicator, who speaks English, Spanish, and Telugu, and takes great pride in educating his patients so they can manage their cardiovascular health more effectively.

Matthew Klein, MD, is a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist who specializes in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders. He sees patients from the Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, office of Advanced Cardiovascular Consultants.
Dr. Klein's areas of expertise include the management and treatment of arrhythmias and related conditions, including atrial fibrillation (AFib), supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), ventricular tachycardia (VT), cardiac rhythm devices, syncope, and palpitations. He performs procedures related to these conditions, including ablation, implant of left atrial occlusion devices such as Watchman, implant of cardiac rhythm devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators (ICD), cardiac resynchronization therapy, conduction system pacing, placement of implantable loop recorders, cardioversion, and tilt table testing.
Dr. Klein has been practicing cardiac electrophysiology in Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter, FL, since 2010. He holds his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his medical school degree from George Washington University. Dr. Klein completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Virginia. He then performed his cardiology and electrophysiology fellowships at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Klein has privileges at the following hospitals: Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Jupiter Medical Center, Good Samaritan Medical Center, and Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital.
In his free time, Dr. Klein enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He and his wife have hiked the Ocean to Lake trail in Florida as well as portions of the Appalachian Trail. Dr. Klein also enjoys running, golf, basketball, and skiing.

Yasser Salem, MD, is a board-certified physician who specializes in cardiology and all aspects of cardiac care, including trauma and transplant procedures. His professional expertise includes both cardiac trauma care and heart transplants. He has been in practice for over 23 years and continues to pursue his education in cardiovascular medicine. Dr. Salem is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is licensed to practice medicine in several states throughout the Midwest.
