Dr. Baig received his medical degree from Aga Khan Medical College and has been in practice for 25 years. He completed his internship in general surgery at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He then completed an internal medicine residency at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Dr. Baig rounded out his medical training with an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Lousiville in Kentucky, a cardiology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, and post-doctoral research at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Baig is board-certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology, with special training and interest in interventional cardiology.
Mohammed Khan, MD, FACC, is a cardiologist at Heart Care Center of Northwest Houston providing cardiac services for patients living in the Methodist Willowbrook area of Houston, and North Cypress, Texas. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center and Houston Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Khan received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and has been in practice for 13 years. He completed his internal medicine training at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey. He then completed his cardiology training at the same institution, as well as his interventional cardiology training, where he earned certification in coronary, carotid, and peripheral angiography and intervention.
Dr. Khan is licensed by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has special interest and training in structural heart disease cardiology, peripheral vascular disease cardiology, preventative cardiology, women’s cardiovascular disease, cardiac imaging, and interventional cardiology.

Kamran Sherwani MD, FACC, is a compassionate cardiologist at Heart Care Center of Northwest Houston providing cardiac services for patients living in the Methodist Willowbrook area of Houston, and North Cypress, Texas. Dr. Sherwani received his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College and has been in practice for 27 years. Following medical school, Dr. Sherwani completed an internship in internal medicine at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at the same institution. Dr. Sherwani rounded out his medical training with a cardiology fellowship at the Mid-American Heart Institute at The University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in nuclear cardiology at the same institution.
Dr. Sherwani is board-certified in cardiology and nuclear cardiology. He has special training and interest in diagnostic cardiology, permanent pacemakers, and nuclear medicine.
Gautam Patankar MD, FACC, serves patients in Northwest Houston, Spring, Tomball, and Cypress as a board-certified cardiologist at the Heart Care Center of Northwest Houston. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, CHI St. Luke's Health - The Vintage Hospital, and HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress.
Dr. Patankar received his medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine in Bryan-College Station, Texas, and completed his internal medicine residency, general cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Patankar is board-certified in internal medicine, general cardiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac CT, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography, and has published research articles on diagnosing carcinoid heart disease, renal filtration, and Takotsubo cardiomyopathy.
In his free time, Dr. Patankar enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and watching sports.
