He earned his medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia and completed his general surgery training at San Joaquin General Hospital in Stockton, CA. He then returned to USC to complete his fellowship specializing in colon and rectal surgery.
He is trained to treat all aspects of colorectal health, including both benign and malignant conditions of the colon, rectum, and anus.
