Natasja is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado with over 11 years of experience providing crisis intervention and outpatient therapy to children,adolescents and adults. She holds a PhD in Public Health from the European Universty of Cyprus, with a focus on mental health promotion, resilience following a crisis and is a published author in the field of behavioral health. She earned her Bachelor and Master's degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Namibia and brings trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach grounded in evidence based practices, including CBT-informed therapy, Motivational Interviewing and strengths-based interventions. With a public health lens, she is especially attentive to social, cultural, and environmental factors that influence mental health and recovery.
Outside of work she is a marathon runner, traveling and plant lover.
