Dr. Ruiz was born and raised in Tucson and decided to pursue dentistry at just 9 years old when she witnessed how a smile could change someone’s life. The opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds, make an impact in the community, and the combination of art and science are what makes Dr. Ruiz continue to be passionate about dentistry.
Dr. Ruiz attended the University of Arizona (Beardown!) and later received an exceptional education at The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating with her DDS degree, she completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the prestigious NYU Langone, further enriching her clinical and surgical skills.
In her spare time, Dr. Ruiz enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, trying new restaurants, and watching movies.
