To say that dentistry is in Megan Charron Mourfield’s blood wouldn’t be an understatement. Megan became the third generation of Charrons to enter the field when she received her denturist license in August 2015. Megan has been working full-time at Northwest Dental Services & Dental Implant Center in Tacoma and Lakewood, Washington, ever since.
Megan graduated in 2014 from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, with a major in Human Development. Throughout her high school and college career, Megan worked at the family business, honing her skills and learning the family trade.
Megan enjoys continuing the family tradition of helping and serving the community. In her free time, Megan loves to spend time with her husband, Justin; her dog, Cyrus; and her cat, Percy.

Dr. Khatkar received her Bachelor Degree of Phychology at the University of Washington, She later got her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
She worked in Southern Oregon for a year right after dental school. After that year, she returned to the south puget sound area and has been here ever since.
She chose the field of dentistry becasue she wanted a career where she could help people and in a way build a relationship with them. She also enjoys working with her hands and being able to create a plan for each patient and any needs they require.
When Dr. Khatkar is not in the office, she enjoys staying active by working out, traveling and exploring the PNW by trying new local restraunts.
Sean Monaghan, DMD, is a general, family, and cosmetic dentist at Cole Street Dental, providing complete oral health care to people in Enumclaw, Washington, and throughout King County.
Dr. Monaghan was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. As a native Washingtonian, he loves spending time outdoors –– rain or shine.
Dr. Monaghan went to college at the University of Washington in Seattle, earning his degree in chemistry and biochemistry and graduating with honors. Then, he enrolled at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University and earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry.
During his time in Boston, Dr. Monaghan received extensive training in all aspects of dentistry, including restorations, periodontics, and oral surgery.
At Cole Street Dental, Dr. Monaghan strives to provide a comfortable and welcoming experience. He always makes time to listen to his patient’s goals and concerns and takes a conservative treatment approach whenever possible.
Dr. Monaghan is passionate about learning and frequently participates in continuing education. He regularly attends dental seminars and conferences and holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle-King County Dental Society.
Outside of work, Dr. Monaghan enjoys spending time with his wife, Richelle, and their young daughter, Bianca. The family spends most weekends bike riding, playing sports, and exploring the Evergreen State together.

Residency- and fellowship-trained in TMJ, orofacial pain disorders, and dental sleep medicine, Jason Pehling, DDS, MS, has a dental practice limited to the treatment of TMD, facial pain and dental sleep medicine at the TMJ Orofacial Disorders Center in Seattle. He specializes in temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), orofacial pain, and dental sleep medicine.
Dr. Pehling is a Northwest native and attended the Bellevue Christian School where he was a two-time state wrestling champion. Dr. Pehling obtained an athletic scholarship and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon. Additionally he received a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of California, San Francisco. Following that, he completed a Master of Science, an NIH sponsored Postdoctoral Pain Fellowship, and a residency in TMJ and orofacial pain from the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Pehling is board-certified by the American Board of Craniofacial Pain and the American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Pehling is a featured expert in the local and national media. Dr. Pehling was the first dentist in the Northwest trained in the use of the Biomet Ultrathin TMJ Arthroscope and the use of Botox® injections for the treatment of bruxism and jaw and facial pain. In his over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Pehling has placed over 6000 functional oral appliances.
Dr. Pehling has had numerous publications, research grants and awards, including multiple years as the Best Dentist Seattle Magazine Award, and the Best Dentist Seattle Metropolitan Magazine Award.
Active in his field, Dr. Pehling is a fellow of several prestigious organizations, such as the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. He is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Dental Association, the Washington Dental Association, and the Seattle-King County Dental Association. He is on the board of Directors for theAmerican Board of Craniofacial Pain.
Away from the dental office, Dr. Pehling enjoys active outdoor activities with his family, such as stand-up paddle boarding, waterskiing, snow skiing, and mountaineering.
