Dr. Meng was born and raised in China. He earned his dental degree and PhD from the West China School of Stomatology at Sichuan University in Chengdu, China.
After graduation, Dr. Meng moved to the United States and completed a fellowship at Johns Hopkins University Medical School in Baltimore, Maryland. He also completed a visiting scholar program at Stanford University in Stanford, California, and a postdoctoral research program at the Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in Dallas.
Before joining the Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces team, Dr. Meng earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with a distinction in dental education from the University of Texas (UT) Health San Antonio School of Dentistry.
At Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, Dr. Meng diagnoses and treats various oral conditions and specializes in dental implants and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Meng’s extensive surgical knowledge and expertise allow him to manage a wide range of issues, including missing teeth, impacted teeth, and oral cancer.

Adam Smith, DDS, is a general and family dentist and the owner of Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, which has four locations in San Antonio and another in Helotes, Texas.
Dr. Smith graduated from San Diego State University in 1998 with a major in psychology and a minor in political science. He then enlisted in the US Army and served as a special operations soldier with the elite US Army Rangers stationed in Ft. Lewis, Washington. After the military, he attended The prestigious University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. From San Francisco, Dr. Smith moved to Northern California and practiced in private practice for two years, where he learned advanced dental procedures, including implants, endodontics, and wisdom tooth extractions.
In late 2011, Dr. Smith and his family relocated to deep south Texas, where he practiced dentistry for six years in the Rio Grande Valley, learning to work with children while raising his own three kids with his beautiful wife, Melissa. Eager to begin the next chapter of their lives, Dr. Smith purchased Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces in late 2017 and moved his family to San Antonio, where they can finally plant roots and have a wonderful city to call home. Dr. Smith brings with him his commitment to excellence, never-quit attitude, and years of training and experience to provide our patients with an unrivaled dental experience and quality dental care in a relaxed environment.

Dr. Kohut earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2004. He continued on to complete a three-year surgical residency in periodontology at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, where he was chief resident and recipient of the Fishman Award.
This advanced training certified him to practice as a specialist in periodontics and implantology. Upon completion of specialty training, Dr. Kohut obtained Diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology, a recognized specialty of the American Dental Association.

Sandra Nairooz, DDS, MSD, is an experienced dentist and board-certified orthodontist at Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, providing high-quality oral health care to people of all ages at offices in San Antonio and Helotes, Texas.
Dr. Nairooz brings more than 10 years of experience to the practice. She was born and raised in Egypt and studied at Ain Shams University in Cairo. There, Dr. Nairooz earned her undergraduate degree in dental surgery. After graduation, she remained at Ain Shams and completed a general dentistry residency.
In 2010, Dr. Nairooz moved to America and enrolled at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in New York. She completed four years of intensive training, earning her dental degree.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Nairooz completed an orthodontic internship at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a two-year postgraduate orthodontic McLaughlin Program in San Diego, California.
Dr. Nairooz is trained in all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in orthodontics. She regularly prescribes braces and Invisalign® treatment to her patients.
Outside of work, Dr. Nairooz is active in several professional organizations. She’s a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society.

Dr Toor was born in a small lumber town at the base of the Rocky Mountains in northern Canada, raised in Vancouver, Canada. Longing for an adventure he pursued and completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in the #1 ranked dental school in India, Manipal University. Dr Toor completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the esteemed Boston University along with clinical training at Harvard University and Tufts University. In addition, he completed a cosmetic dentistry program at NY University.
Dr Toor has extensive experience in operating and optimizing dental practices. He is a coach at heart and believes in providing a team culture that allows growth towards high functioning teams. Dr Toor has his advanced surgical and implant training from the world-renowned MAXI course and Implant Pathway. He was trained by faculty from Harvard University and University of Alabama. After hundreds of hours of surgical training, he received his Fellowship in Implant Dentistry which less than 1% of doctors in the United States hold. Dr Toor continues to maintain a strong focus on continuing education for himself and his team. He still pursues over 100 hours a year in training when the Texas Dental Board only requires 24 hours of CE every 2 years. He believes that we must be constantly be evolving with technology, science, research to provide an exceptional level of care for our patients.
He is a husband, father, and avid adventurist. He loves to travel to immerse himself in cultural experiences around the world. He enjoys playing basketball, snowboarding, hiking great peaks, and running half marathon races.
