Dr. Wynatte Chu believes everyone can have a beautiful, healthy smile.  And each smile is unique in and of itself.  It is a journey and an adventure to achieve that smile and Dr. Chu is there to guide her patients along the way.  Dr. Chu has two convenient office locations. One is in New York City, right between Chinatown and Tribeca, with easy access to public transportation. The other location is in Westport, CT. 

Born in New York City and raised in Westport, Dr. Chu has deep roots in the communities she serves.  She moved into the family business and practiced alongside her father, Dr. Naitan Chu for a number of years immediately after dental school.  She is now the sole practitioner in her family’s practice.

After earning her bachelor’s degree at Mount Holyoke College, she completed graduate studies in molecular biology and genetics at Long Island University where she was inducted into the Beta Gamma Chapter of the Phi Sigma Biological Honor Society.

In 2004, she completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at New York University, College of Dentistry, followed by additional studies in advanced techniques and technology, including Invisalign®, soft tissue lasers, and dental implants.

Dr. Zohar Peker graduated from New York University, with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2009, and then completed a 1 year general dentistry residency program at Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Peker has been practicing since 2010, focusing on general and cosmetic dentistry.

Alexander Kimon, DMD, was born and raised in Sparta, New Jersey. He earned a dual degree in mathematics and chemistry at New York University, where he graduated at the top of his class. Dr. Kimon attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston and completed his dentistry degree with top honors. He has been a dedicated member of the team at Downtown Dental Studio serving the Financial District of New York since 2011.

Despite his many years of training and experience, Dr. Kimon takes an active role in continuing education for himself and his patients. He takes the time to get to know and educate each individual he treats. He believes that a well-informed patient is a healthier one, and he encourages his patients to ask questions and be an active participant in their own dental health care. 

Dr. Kimon is trained in general dentistry, but also possesses a personal interest in esthetic and implant dentistry practices. He is passionate about offering the latest dental procedures to his patients and provides the most cutting-edge treatments to help his patients achieve optimal dental health and a beautiful smile. 

Karina Zaygermakher, DMD, is an associate dentist at Downtown Dental Studio, located in the Financial District of New York. She studied biology at the University of Massachusetts and earned her degree in dental medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr.Zaygermakher completed her residency at the Department of Corrections in Rhode Island.

Dr.Zaygermakher emphasizes good dental health as a cornerstone to good overall health. Although she is trained in general dentistry practices, she also takes great pride in continuing her own education. 

In addition to providing common dental procedures, Dr.Zaygermakher has taken steps to familiarize herself with innovative new dental crowns and bridges, like the CEREC crown procedure, which allows her to perform a crown restoration in under an hour. Wayne Hofflich, DDS, is a highly regarded dentist and has established himself as one of the most sought after dental providers in Southern Westchester. He provides advanced cosmetic, surgical, and general dentistry services at SmileBoutique in Mount Vernon, New York. 

Dr. Hofflich earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry in New York. After graduation, Dr. Hofflich completed a comprehensive residency in general dentistry and oral surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center (BIMC) in New York. 

During the latter part of his residency, Dr. Hofflich was elected as chief dental resident and president of house staff. Not only did Dr. Hofflich rotate through medical and dental specialties during this time, but he also oversaw the day-to-day administrative duties of all residents and interns at BIMC. Meet Dr. Malkis

Avi Malkis at Larchmont Family Dental brightens smiles in Larchmont and Westchester County, providing comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. He specializes in cosmetic restorations, implants, crowns, and bridges. Invisalign®-certified and trained in multiple implant systems including Zimmer, Straumann, and Nobel Biocare, Dr. Malkis is a highly skilled expert in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

After completing undergraduate coursework at Brooklyn College, Dr. Malkis attended the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) to obtain his doctor of dental surgery.

While at NYU, he was given an award for Most Outstanding Senior Dental Student by the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, completed academic research on the subject of bleeding complications under Dr. Michael Turner, and earned academic honors in both head and neck anatomy and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Malkis received “Most Outstanding Student with a focus on Oral Surgery" honors and graduated in the top 10% of his class in 2010. While at NYUCD, Dr. Malkis did humanitarian work by providing underserved people in Nicaragua with dental care.

In addition to his work as a dentist, Dr. Malkis has broad experience in teaching and research. He spent a year as a tutor for first-year dental students in the Head and Neck Anatomy course at NYUCD, and also as a teaching assistant for first-year dental students in the General Dentistry Simulation I Clinic. In his free time, Dr. Malkis stays fit by running, weight lifting, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.

Steven Reff, DDS, delivers exceptional comprehensive dental care at Dental Associates of NJ.  He earned his DDS (doctor of dental surgery) degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Reff achieved top honors in his class and gained induction into the esteemed Gamma Pi Delta Prosthetic Honors Society. 

During his academic career, Dr. Reff held the role of president in various committees, including the Dental School's Global Outreach Program and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery study group.

Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Reff enjoys hiking alongside his yellow Labrador, indulging in fly fishing, and cherishing moments with his wife, Allison, and their children.

Neetu Bhanushali, DDS, is a highly skilled cosmetic and family dentist at Plainfield Dental Associates in Plainfield, New Jersey. Dr. Puri grew up in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania and did his dental training at NYU Dental School. After Dental School, he did a general practice residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.  Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Puri opened a private practice in&nbsp Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. While there, he became very interested in Orthodontics, and decided to sell his practice and enrolled at the prestigious Eastman Dental Center, where he obtained his certificate in the specialty of orthodontics. After completing his orthodontic training, Dr.  Puri settled in New Jersey. He has been practicing orthodontics for 18 years. He provides diagnosis and treatment planning for patients at all stages of growth and development. He works with young children,  adolescents, and adults and in addition to traditional braces, Dr. Puri is certified in both Invisalign and Clear Correct therapy. Sarah Hubert, DDS, is dedicated to improving the quality of sleep and overall of her patients in and around Brooklyn, New York, and the Upper East Side of New York City. As part of the team at Chase Dental Sleepcare, she strives to provide the highest standard of care. 

Dr. Hubert earned her doctorate from the University of California, San Francisco. Born and raised in California, she started her career in the Bay Area while enjoying the abundant outdoor activities that California is known for.

After moving to New York in 2007, Dr. Hubert began developing her dental practice in restorative and airway-focused orthodontics. Studying with Spear, Dawson, and many others, she has spent her career learning about the connections between sleep, TMD, occlusion, and overall health. Michael Steinberg, DDS, is a dentist practicing at Chase Dental SleepCare's location in the Midwood neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. 

A graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Steinberg completed a residency in General Dentistry at the Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York City. Dr. Steinberg has received extensive training in painful disorders of the head & neck, as well as in sleep disorders and dental sleep medicine. 

Dr. Steinberg has authored articles on dental treatment of migraine headaches, snoring and sleep apnea, and the connection between oral health and overall wellness. These articles have appeared in publications such as The Journal Of the New York State Academy of General Dentistry, Bottom Line Natural Healing, and Clinician's Advisor. He has also lectured on these topics and continues to do so.

Dr Steinberg's passion is to provide for the overall health of his patients and his community using therapeutic modalities that remain underdeveloped in the settings of traditional healthcare. By treating sleep disorders in patients young and not as young, he seeks to remedy the underlying causes of many systemic health disorders.

His most cherished claim to fame is that of being the husband of Miriam Steinberg for 37 years and being a father and grandfather.
