Dr. Shannon, originally from Massachusetts, resides in Newport Beach, California. She graduated from Georgetown University, Washington DC with a B.S.N. and continued her education at Georgetown Medical School, Washington, DC where she obtained her medical degree. Susan Pearose is a certified Physician Assistant and diplomate fellow in dermatology. She is originally from Orange County, California where she attended the University of California, Irvine for her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. Susan later attended Keck School of Medicine of USC and completed her master’s degree in their Physician Assistant program. While attending USC, she volunteered as an educator at The Lamp Community of Skid Row in Downtown, Los Angeles. She, then furthered her education by completing her dermatology fellowship from the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. In her spare time, Susan enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time outdoors. She is very excited to be part of Allure Plastic Surgery + Dermatology and is proud to work with such a fantastic team.

Lucas G. Bingham, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist experienced in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. At Coastal Hills Dermatology in Ladera Ranch, California, Dr. Bingham offers patients exceptional dermatologic care in a relaxed and friendly environment. Dr. Bingham began his studies at Brigham Young University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a minor in zoology. Outside of the office, Dr. Bingham enjoys spending time with his large family. He also loves being active outdoors, especially running, road and mountain biking, pickleball, hiking, backpacking, skiing, and stand-up paddle surfing. Dr. Bingham lived in South America for several years and is fluent in Spanish.

Afshin David Rahimi, MD, FAAD, is the board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon at Westlake Laser and Aesthetics, serving both Los Angeles and Ventura Counties in the neighborhood of Westlake Village, California. Born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised in Southern California, I received my undergraduate degree from Northwestern University, graduating cum laude with a major in philosophy. I earned my medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School with highest honors, then completed a residency in dermatology at Cook County Hospital in downtown Chicago, serving as chief resident during my final year.
 I have been on the teaching faculty at the University of California, Los Angeles, serving as the Director of Dermatology Resident Education at OliveView-UCLA Hospital, while maintaining private practices in Glendale and Arcadia, California.

Dr. Dennis Nguyen is a Southern California native, proud to be serving our community as a double Board-Certified Dermatologist and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgeon. Dr. Nguyen completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Following college, Dr. Nguyen continued his work in the UCSF Melanoma Sentinel Lymph Node Program and research of autologous melanoma vaccines. He graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine as a prestigious Regents Scholar in 2004. From there, Dr. Nguyen completed his internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, his dermatology residency at University Hospitals/Case Western in Cleveland, and his ACMS Mohs Surgery and Procedural Dermatology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York. Since 2009, Dr. Nguyen has honed his skills in the treatment of skin cancers and cutaneous oncology. He has performed over 20,000 cases of Mohs micrographic surgery.

Dr. Michael Abrouk joins us as a Harvard fellowship-trained cosmetic, surgical and laser dermatologist, and one of the few fellowship-trained dermatologists in the US selected as Newsweek’s Best Cosmetic Dermatologists in America. Having graduated from UCLA School of Medicine in 1993 with Magna Cum Laude, Dr. Tabibian finished his residency training in dermatology in 1997 where he was trained in general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and dermatopathology. He is a fellow member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Board of Dermatology, and the American Society of Mohs Surgery (Practicing Mohs surgery since 2000), and a member of the California Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He currently serves as a clinical instructor of dermatology at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA where he trains internal medicine residents doing electives in Dermatology.
