Dr. Waxweiler is originally from Duluth, Georgia, and graduated from Duluth High School. He completed his undergraduate degree with honors at Davidson College on a full scholarship.

In addition to his expertise in complex medical dermatology, Dr. Cleaver has performed fellowships with additional certifications in both dermatopathology and Mohs micrographic surgery. Nathan J. In addition to his dermatology education and training, Dr. Cleaver earned additional certifications in dermatopathology and Mohs micrographic surgery through fellowships at the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology in New York City, and the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri. While serving as an associate professor for the Northeast Regional Medical Center’s dermatology residency program, Dr. Cleaver taught didactic dermatopathology to dermatology residents locally and nationally.
Dr. Cleaver is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, and the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He’s authored several chapters for textbooks and articles for scientific journals. He shares his knowledge with his peers through national presentations to the dermatology medical community.
