Steven is a graduate Doctorate Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the ANCC in Family Medicine. He obtained his degree in Family and Emergency Medicine from Rutgers University School of Biomedical and Health Sciences where he graduated in the top of his class. He has worked extensively in wound care since 2008, as well as emergency room medicine, correctional emergency medicine, urgent care, pain management, and mobile intensive care. For over a decade he has been on the cutting edge of wound care medicine and has been healing patients utilizing current evidence-based medicine as the driving force of his practice, from sharp excisional debridement to advanced biologics and everything in between.
Steven specializes in all types of wounds including traumas, pressure injuries, vascular ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and surgical wounds, and has treated patients in their homes, hospitals, and in skilled nursing facilities over the years in multiple states. He has also collaborated, consulted, and trained the staff for many home health care companies and skilled nursing facilities to improve the wound care they provide to their patients. Eugenio Rodriguez, MD, is an experienced wound care specialist practicing at Wound Care Associates, located in Delray Beach, Florida. Relying on his years of experience and keen medical expertise, Dr. Rodriguez provides comprehensive care for trauma, burns, and a myriad of other severe injuries.
Dr. Rodriguez completed his undergraduate education at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biology/pre-med. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico in 1986, again graduating magna cum laude.
After graduating, Dr. Rodriguez completed his postgraduate training at the San Juan Veteran Affairs Medical Center and the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. Soon after, he relocated to Florida, where he completed a clinical and research fellowship in trauma at Tampa General Hospital under Alexander Rosemurgy, MD.
Today, Dr. Rodriguez is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery. He is also an integral part of the trauma and surgical team at Delray Medical Center, which is one of four Level 1 trauma centers in the South Florida area. As part of this team, Dr. Rodriguez has the opportunity to care for some of South Florida's most critical patients.

Fritz Pluviose, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine doctor at Vie Medical Center in Delray Beach, Florida.
