Barbara Kiersz-Mueller, D.O., is a board-certified family physician who has specialized expertise in headaches, ADHD, sports injuries and child development. Dr. Kiersz Mueller treats patients at the Austin branch of THINK Neurology for Kids in Texas.
Dr Kiersz-Mueller was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved to Florida with her parents and siblings at the age of 15. Dr. Kiersz-Mueller majored in chemical biology for her undergraduate studies at Stevens Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science. After graduating in 2010, she enrolled at the Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine to complete her medical degree.
Dr. Kiersz-Mueller undertook her internship in family and osteopathic medicine at the Medical College of Georgia from 2014-2015, and completed her residency in family and community medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences San Antonio from 2015-2017, where she served as chief resident during her senior year. She joined THINK Neurology for Kids in 2020. Dr. Kiersz-Mueller holds certification from the American Board of Family Medicine.
When she is not devoting her time to young patients, Dr. Kiersz-Mueller takes great pleasure in spending time with her husband and hiking and paddle-boarding with their Dachshund. Board-certified in Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine, Andrea Pana, MD, has treated patients in various settings since 1994. Her expertise is in Sports Medicine and the care of Musculoskeletal Injuries. Dr. Pana sees patients throughout Austin and San Antonio, Texas, at Serenity Medical Centers.
After receiving her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from George Washington University, Dr. Pana completed a Family Medicine Residency at UCLA and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University. She also served as a physician in the United States Air Force.
Dr. Pana has treated athletes for every major college sport as well as professional and Olympic athletes. She served on the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine Board from 2008-2012.
Academically, Dr. Pana has been involved in educating physician assistants, medical students, residents, and athletic training students. She has several publications relating to concussions in athletes and has assisted in editing the 5 Minute Sports Medicine Consult. Dr. Amy Meoli has been practicing sleep medicine for over 20 years. She trained at the University of Missouri-Kansas City prior to her sleep fellowship at Allegheny University in Philadelphia. She is board-certified in sleep medicine.
Dr. Meoli says she recognized the changes in patient needs related to sleep issues, and the growing time constraint people have to manage. She believes Sliiip is a progressive move to accommodate patient needs.

Dr. Matthew Rodgers trained at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and joins the practice after retiring from the Army after a 27-year career. He is board certified in family medicine and sleep medicine with a focus on sleep medicine for the past 10 years.
He was the Army medical director for the virtual medical center for two years focusing on providing synchronous and asynchronous virtual health care throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Dr. Rodgers created virtual sleep medicine clinics to provide sleep testing and treatment to sites in four countries and eight sites, throughout Europe. Professionally he enjoys narcolepsy, sleep apnea and the complex interactions between sleep and PTSD.
Dr. Rodgers likes football, basketball, and baseball. But ironically wasn’t good at any of them, so he played rugby for eight years and wrestled for fourteen and coached wrestling for five years.
