Experienced board-certified cardiologist Payam R. Yashar, MD has proudly served patients from all over Southern California for over fifteen years, and is now extending his counsel as far as Europe and Asia.

Dr. Scott is an award-winning physician & surgeon. After graduating from New York University with a major in Chemistry and minors in Biology, Math and German, Dr. Speller received her medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, followed by her Master in Public Health from the UC Berkeley School of Public Health.  She then went on to complete a residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Oakland.  After working as a pediatrician in private practice and urgent care for 5 years, Dr. Speller began a career in alternative medicine.  At one time, she owned and operated several practices with many offices throughout the state of California.

Mariam completed her undergraduate studies at California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then completed the Physician Assistant Studies (MPAP) program at The University of California's Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, earning her master's degree. 

Mariam is trained in dermatology with a focus on early skin cancer detection and prevention. She continued her training in dermatology by completing the SDPA Diplomate Fellowship and becoming an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Earning his B.S. in biology from Loyola University Chicago, he then went onto medical school in Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine New York. Dr. Nik moved onto internship and residency at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital where he met Dr. Soufer. Dr. Nik joined Dr. Soufer as chief residents during their training together. Serving the surrounding community allowed him to hone his skills treating highly acute patients in a level 2 trauma hospital. Dr. Nik now joins Dr. Soufer in their practice in Sherman Oaks. Dr. Nik prides himself in being thorough yet focused in his medical care. He focuses on heart health, cholesterol management, diet and exercise planning, and diabetes management.
