Dr. Mamunes grew up in Maryland, attending the University of Maryland, College Park and subsequently completing his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. There he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. During this time, he contributed to multiple research papers published in peer-reviewed medical journals, spanning topics from endoscopic practices to inflammatory bowel disease. Josh Rosenbloom, DO, is a board-certified gastroenterologist and hepatologist at the Gastro Center of Maryland in Columbia, Lutherville, and Annapolis, Maryland. He is committed to providing his patients with the best possible personalized care in a calming and professional environment.
Dr. Rosenbloom received his medical degree from Des Moines University. After graduating, he continued his medical education at the St. John Providence health system through Michigan State University, completing a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology. He also participated in published research studies on nutrition, weight loss, hepatitis C, and improving colonoscopy preparation.
Dr. Rosenbloom specializes in endoscopy , including colorectal cancer screenings, weight loss assistance, pain and symptom management, and nutrition. Given his interests in these areas , he has taken a special focus on performing both Orbera and Spatz bariatric balloon insertions
